Description
Refreshing Homemade Mango Lemonade is a bright, fruity drink made with fresh lemon juice, mango pulp, honey, chilled water, and mint. It is best served cold over ice.
Ingredients
1 cup lemon juice, from 5 to 6 medium lemons
1 cup mango pulp, homemade or store bought
1/2 cup honey or sugar syrup
5 cups chilled water
2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves
Ice for serving
1 sliced lemon for garnish, optional
Instructions
1. Combine the lemon juice, mango pulp, and honey in a large pitcher.
2. Stir until fully blended.
3. Add the chilled water and fresh mint leaves.
4. Stir again until combined.
5. Refrigerate until cold.
6. Serve over ice.
7. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness to taste.
Add extra mango pulp for a stronger mango flavor and deeper color.
Mint leaves can be omitted if preferred.
Honey can be replaced with sugar syrup or agave.
Thin skinned lemons produce more juice.
Microwave lemons briefly and roll them before cutting to help release more juice.
Best served chilled over ice.
