Description
A creamy, refreshing peach smoothie made with fresh or frozen peaches, coconut yogurt, almond milk, vanilla, and optional chia or flaxseeds.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh or frozen peaches, chopped
1/2 cup coconut yogurt
1/2 cup almond milk or other milk of choice
1 tablespoon agave syrup or maple syrup, optional
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Handful of ice cubes, if using fresh peaches
1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds, optional
Instructions
1. If using fresh peaches, peel and chop them.
2. Add peaches, coconut yogurt, almond milk, sweetener if desired, vanilla extract, and ice to a blender.
3. Add chia seeds or flaxseeds if using.
4. Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape the sides if needed.
5. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired, then blend briefly again.
6. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for the best flavor.
Frozen peaches can replace fresh peaches and remove the need for ice.
Adjust the milk amount to make the smoothie thicker or thinner.
For a different flavor, add berries, banana, or a handful of spinach.
For a slushy texture, freeze the smoothie in ice cube trays and reblend before serving.
Best enjoyed immediately for the freshest flavor and texture.
Garnish with peach slices or chia seeds if desired.
