Notes
Use high quality fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
Heirloom, Roma, or plum tomatoes all work well if fully ripe.
Choose creamy mozzarella packed in water.
Use a ripe avocado that gives slightly when pressed.
Homemade balsamic reduction gives a thicker and sweeter finish than many store bought versions.
Use a sharp knife for clean, even slices.
Best served fresh as a summer side dish or appetizer.
Leftovers can be refrigerated, though tomatoes may soften over time.
