Description
Warm Cinnamon Sugar Baked Peaches with butter, brown sugar, cozy spices, and vanilla ice cream. A quick peach dessert ready in 15 minutes.
Ingredients
4 large ripe peaches
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of cloves
Pinch of salt
Vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Cut peaches in half, remove pits, and place cut side up on a baking sheet or baking dish.
3. Add a small piece of butter to the center of each peach half.
4. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt in a small bowl.
5. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the peaches.
6. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes until peaches are soft and lightly caramelized.
7. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for the best sweetness and texture.
Peach skins can stay on during baking.
Freestone peaches are easier to pit.
Adjust the recipe easily for more or fewer servings.
Serve with caramel sauce, whipped cream, mascarpone, honey, or toasted nuts if desired.
This recipe also works well with nectarines or pears.
