Description

Classic Crack Chicken Casserole is a creamy, cheesy, and easy comfort food made with shredded chicken, ranch seasoning, pasta, and crispy bacon. Perfect for busy weeknights and family dinners.


Ingredients

3 to 4 cups cooked shredded chicken

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

1 can condensed cream of chicken soup

1 to cups sour cream

½ cup milk

2 cups cooked pasta (macaroni or penne)

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

Green onions (optional)

Optional topping:
1 to 1½ cups crushed butter crackers
¼ cup melted butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish
  2. Mix softened cream cheese with ranch seasoning, soup, sour cream, and milk until smooth
  3. Add cooked chicken, pasta, cheese, and bacon, then stir well
  4. Transfer mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly
  5. If using, mix crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle on top
  6. Bake uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes until hot and bubbly
  7. Let cool slightly and garnish with green onions before serving
