Description

This Sheet Pan Peach Crisp has warm, gooey peaches and a crisp cinnamon oat topping. It serves 8 and tastes best warm with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce.

Ingredients

Scale

8-10 peaches, peeled and sliced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons butter, softened

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup old fashioned rolled oats

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt, optional

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

10 tablespoons salted butter, chilled and cubed

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a rimmed sheet pan with the softened butter.

2. Mix peaches with lemon juice, vanilla, and sugar. Add flour and toss gently until coated. Spread evenly on the prepared sheet pan.

3. In another bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Cut in the chilled butter until the mixture becomes crumbly.

4. Scatter the topping evenly over the peaches.

5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the topping is golden and crisp. Let cool slightly before serving warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Use old fashioned rolled oats instead of quick oats for the best crisp texture.

Fresh peaches work best, but drained canned peaches can be substituted, though the filling may be softer.

Peaches can be peeled or left unpeeled based on preference.

Additional salt can be omitted if preferred, or flaky sea salt can be sprinkled on after baking.

Serve with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce for extra flavor.

Allow the crisp to cool slightly before serving for better texture.
